The aim of this site is to serve as avenue for learning about the American Civil War in a broader context, pointing towards key areas of the conflict’s international dimensions and the impact upon Anglo-American relations. Not only does it serve as a presentation of research, but is structured in such a way as to benefit the study interests of visitors. This site identifies subjects of interest, notable documents and figures, and pivotal events, providing suggestions for future historical research.
